We are committed
to protecting your personal privacy. We understand that for
you to enjoy our site, we must do everything we can to ensure
that your privacy is secure.
How2Kids and the
iKidWorld related sites (known as "Related Sites")
do not track visitors on our web sites. Our sites automatically
captures limited information about visits to our site. We
use this information only to analyze general traffic patterns
(e.g. what pages are most/least popular), to figure out what
isn't working, and to make decisions on our content.
All URLs linked
from our website are reviewed by our staff. Nothing is "automatically"
posted to our websites. However, these outside sites may change
content periodically, and we may not know exactly what is
on there at any given time, so precautions about Internet
content should be maintained by kids and families.
Kids' Issues
How2Kids pages -- When kids are in the How2Kid pages,
they won't need to enter personal information about themselves,
like name, age, e-mail address, telephone number or address.
This page is designed for kids 7-13 to provide a safe environment
and guide to the Web. We do not plan to have any paid advertisements
on the iKidWorld pages.
Other Related Pages - As kids may wander to the other
Related Sites (e.g. iParentWorld, iTeacherWorld, iTeenWorld),
those sites will have paid ads that only are labeled "ad"
or "advertisement."|
Other Sites -- We sites provide links to other Web
sites. Some of these Web sites might have stuff on them for
adults as well as kids. So when you leave our sites to go
to another Web site, check with your parents -- especially
if that Web site asks for any personal information about you
or your family. Let your parents know every time someone asks
for your personal information online.

If you choose to contact us and provide personally identifiable
information about yourself, we will use this information only
to respond to your question. We will not sell or rent that
information to third parties. Although we will respond to
inquiries via e-mail we do not collect, store, use or disclose
this personally identifying information in order to build
mailing lists either for our own use or to sell, rent or give
away to others.

We do not share any personal information that you choose to
give us with any third parties.
Information: How2Kids or Related
Sites currently do not collect any personally identifiable information
from children who visit the sites. Nor is any personal information
collected from IP addresses, log files or other backend systems.
Our sites may collect certain aggregate (combined, not individual,
data), such as the number of users who visit the Web site; we
may share that data with third-parties. If in the future we
add any features that involve collection of personal information
(such as greeting cards, newsletters or bulletin boards), these
features will comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection
Act of 1998 ("COPPA"), and there will be a parental
consent process in place. This Privacy Statement will be updated
if these features are added, so please periodically review this
page.
Cookies: How2Kids may collect and store, for statistical
purposes, only the following information from each visitor to
the IKidWorld Websites: The name of the domain from which the
visitor accesses the Internet (for example, aol.com or ucla.edu),
the date and time of access, and the URL from which the visitor
was linked to the How2Kids or Related Sites.
How2Kids does not use cookies at any of its sites. How2Kids
does not permit banners or other advertisements to be used at
any of How2Kids sites, in order to insure the privacy of visitors.
